I must say that I did not have high hopes for the book. This was especially true since I am not as interested in the study of Buddhism as he is. Nonetheless, since he owned the book, I decided to acquiesce to His recommendation and read his book. The book is set forth as a discussion between Jesus and Buddha. The setting is a boat ride. There are four main characters in the story: a young prostitute who has HIV, a boat man, Buddha, and Jesus. The story is centered around the young prostitute and whether or not there is hope for her in this life and in the life to come.
