Jack and the Beanstalk: The Real Story
Steve : Okay so Jack was a poor boy who lived with his mother and, all they had was a cow. And they were so poor. But the next morning when they got up there were these giant beanstalks growing way, way, way, way up high. I smell the blood of an Englishman. He kept going up there and hiding in the castle and there was some kind of a harp in there, but I…I forget that part. And finally the giant finds out somebody is stealing from him and he catches Jack and he chases Jack and Jack runs to the beanstalk and slides down the beanstalk as fast as he can and when he gets to the bottom he gets an axe and he chops the beanstalk down and the giant is coming down the beanstalk and the giant falls and crashes and it kills him.
It presents an alternate version of the classic English fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk. Dialogue [ edit ] Jack Robinson : I'm sorry Veedus. Seeds, all I see are seeds.

Jack and the Beanstalk
Once upon a time, there lived a widow woman and her son, Jack, on their small farm in the country. Every day, Jack would help his mother with the chores - chopping the wood, weeding the garden and milking the cow. But despite all their hard work, Jack and his mother were very poor with barely enough money to keep themselves fed. We must sell our cow, Old Bess, and with the money buy enough seed to plant a good crop. I'll go into town and sell Bessy. So Jack took the cow's halter in his hand, walked through the garden gate and headed off toward town.
Jack emerges from the cottage in the morning walking across the yard to grab a bucket. He walks past a giant beanstalk without noticing, but on the return he glances to his left and looks briefly with his eyes climbing skyward. He turns continuing to the cottage, but halts mid-step, wheels about and this time, stares in awe. Jack: It goes straight up to the sky! I grew this beanstalk last night with five beans I planted. Five magic beans! Jack: Have no fear, mother.
