Before we could read, he would read it to us, and once we began reading he encouraged us to practice by reading it aloud to him at night. The second stanza is the first part of anything I ever memorized. Dad not only had us read from it, but would ask us what we thought it meant. The difficulties of School is a subject which many have written about. Children are in some ways like savages, untrained in the ways of society. They may not stop to think whether it is wrong to torture other children. Students are often the target of emotional or physical bullying. Most schools have various groups or gangs of students that exclude all others.

In fact, a word in Shakespeare actually becomes the emotion, and when he organises his words into phrases and sentences that applies even more strongly. In the sonnets, particularly, although they are only fourteen lines, there is a world of experience in each one because every item of expression has several layers of meaning, all interacting with all the other expression in the poem.
